Mercedez Benz

Today I came to know new thing that Mercedez Benz is the Brand of Dailmer-Chrysler India.

Till today I didnot know the actual name of the Company I thought that Mercedez was the name of the Company. I was under Imposture of the name of the company.

Dailmer-Chrysler was founded in 1998 when mercedez-Benz manufacturer Dailmer Benz (1926-1998) of Stutgart Germany merged with the US-based Company Chrysler Corporation. The deal created new identity, Dailmer Chrysler.

Cairn

Recently Cairn was taken over Vedanta. Cairn Edinburgh based company is the second largest private company in terms of oil production in India after RIL.

Cairn sold its stake as they wanted to concentrate more on core competence i.e business of exploration in Greenland.

Vedanta

Vedanta is currently in news. Vendantta is company owned by Agrawal group.

Anil Agrawal believes that “whatever you have earned, a portion of it should go back to society”

Anil Agrawal founder of Vedanta was born in Patna Bihar. His father was a small business man. His father was into making aluminium conductors.

Mr. Agrawal was a matriculate from Miller High Scholl, Patna. Lalu prasad Yadav was his classmate and he also claim to be his great fan. He is strict vegetarian.

Anil Agrawal founded Sterlite Industries , a business operating in the industrial sector in 1976 and then in 1986 he established Vedanta Resources bringing together a variety of business owned by the Agrawal family.

Mr. Agrawal is based in UK, where he lived in London and is married and two children.

Capitation Fees

This time GU gave nod to 16 new colleges which could start operations from this year itself. They are of B.com and BBA. It is record breaking approval in the history of Gujarat University. Last time approval was given was of 7 colleges in 2005. As kapil Sibal in his agenda have ordered quick approval to colleges in ordered to curb the “Donation regime” aka capitation fees which existing colleges charge from the student due to unavailability of seats.

Inflation

I was reading on net and came to know about the causes of steep inflation rise. I have included some insights of inflation as follow :

1) India have spent a lot of on rural developing plan and which in turn it raised the purchasing power of the rural people and utlimately affected with Price rise of foodgrain.

2) Pratibha Patil in its joint parliament address told to curb on the public spending on programmes of rural development.
